The 'Queen of Insight, Kim Nam-joo' showcased her down-to-earth personality once again.
In the SBS Life program 'Queen of Insight, Kim Nam-joo,' aired on the 17th, Kim Nam-joo was depicted traveling to Busan with staff members who have been with her for 15 to 30 years under the theme of 'Team Kim Nam-joo Workshop Episode 1.' Kim Nam-joo introduced her team, saying, "We are on the same team as our channel. There's my manager who has been with me for 30 years, a makeup artist for 20 years, and a hair artist for 15 years."
They even appeared with matching luggage of the same brand. Kim Nam-joo cheerfully boasted, "We matched the suitcase brand we used in 'Wonderful World' with different colors. Isn't it pretty?"
Despite the rainy weather, Kim Nam-joo displayed a fresh hairstyle. The production team quickly recognized, "Nam-joo's hair has changed." With her cute tomboyish vibe, curly hair, Kim Nam-joo exuded a lovable charm. The hair stylist noted, "I tried to bring the mood of the Busan sea breeze and waves to her hair," while shrugging her shoulders.
The production team asked, "Could you please introduce your outfit today?" Kim Nam-joo replied, "This is the shirt dress I wore during the first episode. I was wearing an apron when I went to the garden. I casually wore the *Lada belt bag, as well as *Rentino slippers and a *Lettier wristwatch," showcasing a nonchalant luxurious look.
Kim Nam-joo was a Tteokbokki killer. She confidently exclaimed, "I really love Tteokbokki. If I could eat just one thing before I die, it would be Tteokbokki." The hair stylist invited Kim Nam-joo to her friendly restaurant, saying, "Busan style is a bit chewy and sweet."
Next to Kim Nam-joo was Kim Seung-woo. Although he did not appear on screen, Kim Seung-woo was always there supporting Kim Nam-joo. The owner of the Tteokbokki shop showed a photo and said, "Kim Seung-woo visited this place too. It was 30 years ago." Kim Nam-joo noted, "No wonder I heard my husband's voice. He was there eating first" and added, "My husband is just appearing with his voice today."
Kim Nam-joo said, "This is a style that I truly love. It's sweet and made from rice cake," showing how deeply she was in love with Busan Tteokbokki. The hair stylist explained, "The Tteokbokki in Nampo-dong market has a prominent sweetness. It's the sweetness brought out by carrots and cabbage."
Kim Nam-joo showcased an H brand belt while revealing her skincare routine. She presented the skincare brand she genuinely uses, not just for advertising.
Kim Nam-joo mentioned, "I actually dislike going to the dermatologist. Of course, I go. I get Ultherapy and summer treatments, and I do what's recommended. However, I hate going. I often receive calls from the dermatology clinic," expressing that although she uses dermatological services, she does not enjoy it much. The treatments Kim Nam-joo mentioned were trendy procedures these days.
He stated, "Even so, I apply the nourishing cream and emulsion of my favorite brand," and added, "I'm sorry that I'm so boring."
