Singer and songwriter Sunwoo Jung-a, known for 'Park Bogum's Cantabile,' revealed the backstory of the hit song "Run Away."
On the 18th, KBS2TV's music entertainment program "Park Bogum's Cantabile" featured Sunwoo Jung-a, who appeared in the first episode of Bogum's "Cantabile." Sporting a cheerful bob hairstyle, Sunwoo Jung-a presented "Bbaeksae" as her first song.
When it was time for the talk segment, Park Bogum asked, "It is said that you have released a total of 136 songs. Is there a song that you feel most attached to?" Sunwoo Jung-a replied, "If I had to pick one, it would be the song 'Run Away,' which was released in 2019 and received the most love."
In response, Park Bogum shared that he also listened to this song while writing his graduate thesis. Sunwoo Jung-a added, "In the past, when I was newly married, I had a fight with my spouse and ran away. But it felt good. Running away helped me release my feelings, and we were able to talk, which was nice. After living like that for a season, my spouse went through a tough time. I started this song to comfort that person. It felt good to escape, so I wrote it with the sentiment of 'let's go together.'" This revelation surprised everyone.
