Comedian Park Na-rae realized her dream in Georgia after canceling her schedule.
On the 17th, the MBC entertainment program 'Save Me! Homes' (abbreviated as 'Homes') aired Park Na-rae's global property visit to Georgia for the 'Save Me! Global Dwellings' segment.
The broadcast featured a look at the prices of various foreign homes. Until now, 'Homes' has drawn attention by revealing property prices from around the world, including Australia, the United States, Hong Kong, Mongolia, and Egypt. This time, the global price check focused on 'Georgia,' the birthplace of wine with an 8,000-year history and an emerging destination for extended stays.
The reason Park Na-rae ended up in Georgia also caught attention. She mentioned her trip to Turkey while filming for 'Home Alone,' saying, "I had a one-week filming schedule in another country right after my visit to Turkey. But it got canceled three weeks ago," revealing her surprise experience. She added, "I had a week to kill. Since I was already far away in Europe, I decided to go to Georgia."
The first property visit in Georgia was a 'Balcony Local Dwellings' located in Tbilisi's Marjanashvili, the capital of Georgia. Known for being loved by Georgian hipsters, it was a German-style antique house situated in what might be dubbed Georgia's Seongsu-dong, featuring a shared courtyard shaped like the letter 'ㅁ'. The interior was filled with European charm, and the balcony adorned with blooming trumpet vines drew gasps of admiration.
The second property visit was an 'APT.' located in the Saburtalo district of Tbilisi, Georgia. Having gained independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, Georgia still bears many traces of the Soviet era throughout the city, with this listing being a modern apartment from the 1970s.
Despite the dilapidated exterior, the interior featured a surprising design with a European touch, boasting a stunning city view through the balconies. With a structure of three rooms and two baths, it resembled the layout of a Korean apartment, catching the eye. After receiving a meal from the homeowner, Park Na-rae had the chance to savor traditional Georgian home-cooked dishes.
The third property visit was a 'small family-run wine farm dwelling' located in Kakheti, Georgia. Situated two and a half hours by car from Tbilisi, the Kakheti region is surrounded by majestic mountains and is renowned as the center of Georgian wine production due to its fertile soil.
Park Na-rae began her sensory-filled labor visit by choosing an 80-year-old traditional winery. At the 1,500㎡ winery, she worked hard, from pruning the grapevines to cleaning the traditional wine vessel 'Qvevri' in the traditional way, gathering much attention.
Meanwhile, in 'Visited to See the House,' Kim Dae-ho embarked on a 'proxy visit' to the 'Real MAN CAVE' house in Boseong-eup, Jeollanam-do. The homeowner couple revealed that they ran away to Seoul to protect their love in their youth, and after many years, they returned to their hometown, surprising everyone with their story.
A couple who purchased a hanok built about 170 years ago was unintentionally leading a separate(?) life. The husband, stating that he lives in a cave, surprised everyone by revealing a 100% handmade cave house he dug out himself from the rocky mountain behind their house. Furthermore, the homeowner caught attention by mentioning he has been digging a second cave for three years.
