Recently, one of the sought-after stars, Kim Nam-joo, drew attention by confessing to her dermatological procedure.
In a program aired on the cable channel SBS Life on the 17th, titled "Queen of Insight Kim Nam-joo," Kim Nam-joo's trip to Busan was depicted. On that day, Kim Nam-joo said, "I want to talk about something I use, not just advertisements," and she revealed the secret to her widely discussed "glossy skin" that has been a topic for decades.
Notably, Kim Nam-joo also revealed that she undergoes dermatological procedures, which attracted attention. Kim Nam-joo stated, "I actually dislike going to dermatology. Of course, I go. I do ultherapy and thermage, and I do what is recommended," adding, "But I hate going. They often contact me from the dermatology clinic," she said honestly. It was revealed that she consistently manages her skin and sometimes receives help from dermatologists.
Not only Kim Nam-joo, but also many stars nowadays are openly discussing cosmetic surgery and dermatological procedures, engaging in proactive communication. Actress Lee Si-young, who attracted significant attention with her second pregnancy news, also mentioned on her YouTube channel, "I received dermatological procedures after two years," revealing that she underwent rejuvenation treatment and thermage.
Singer Kwon Eun-bi, who annually draws attention on the 'Water Bomb' stage, has also confessed to undergoing dermatological procedures. In content revealed on the YouTube channel of fashion magazine Cosmopolitan Korea last March, Kwon Eun-bi disclosed her pre-comeback routine. At that time, Kwon Eun-bi stated, "I need to receive treatment. I visit three different dermatology clinics. A fourth one has been added recently. I look for areas specializing in anti-aging, freckles, skin tone, and tonics."
Actress Ki Eun-se, known for her youthful appearance, also revealed that her beauty secret is dermatological procedures. Ki Eun-se communicates her skills not only in acting but also in various fields like fashion, cooking, beauty, and interior design. In a recent variety show, she stated, "I do various treatments. While it's important to wear sunscreen, I need help from dermatology. I've been doing it since I was 29 years old."
In particular, Ki Eun-se detailed, "I used to have surgery every year and a half when I was younger, and now I do it once every six to eight months. What I really like is stem cell treatment. It feels like my pores are going back to how they were in my 20s."
