Kim So-young appeared on "Problem Child in House" to share some heartwarming news that has recently happened. She honestly opened up about her 8 years of marriage with her husband Oh Sang-jin, as well as her achievements as a businesswoman and author.
On the 17th, in the KBS2TV program "Problem Child in House," Kim So-young, a former announcer, made an appearance.
She currently runs a publishing company with 40 to 50 employees and is active as a representative and author. Kim So-young noted, "I started the business with my retirement pay. I wanted to do something related to books that I love," revealing the motivation behind founding her publishing company. She also shared that her recently published book became a bestseller and went to reprint within a week of its release. "It's a book that compiles letters from 37 literary figures, and I just wrote the preface as the compiler," she explained modestly. Congratulated for her achievement of going to reprint in just a week, she said, "That truly is a highlight in the publishing industry."
The book also included writings from her husband Oh Sang-jin, and Kim So-young jokingly mentioned, "I used my husband's writing without permission?" which caught everyone's attention.
The couple, who have been married for 8 years, now understand each other better than anyone else. Kim So-young stated, "We are logically compatible TT couple. There are rules like: 'Don't touch at night', and 'Don't touch in the morning'," which drew laughter. When Hong Jin Kyung asked, "So when do you touch?" Kim So-young joked, "That's our only flaw."
Additionally, recalling the time she was pregnant with her first child, she said, "I found out I was pregnant during a trip to England. At that time, I wasn't doing business, so it seemed smooth. Now I'm so busy that I can hardly see my husband's face. Maybe that's why his face seems bright."
Meanwhile, Kim So-young has also gained attention for her real estate investments with her husband Oh Sang-jin. The couple is reported to have purchased a building in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in 2017 for 2.3 billion won and recently sold it for 9.6 billion won, realizing a capital gain of about 7 billion won.
