Koyote member Shinji directly revealed her feelings following the controversy over her marriage announcement with Moonwon. She eased her worries by having honest conversations with the Koyote members. Nevertheless, Shinji was taking medication for panic disorder before going on stage to calm her nerves.
On the 17th, a new content titled 'How have you been recently...' was released on Shinji's YouTube channel 'What do you think?!?!'. This was the first upload after introducing her fiancé Moonwon to Kim Jongmin and Baekga during the 'meeting the parents' video.
First, Shinji explained, "After the water park performance, when I was the master of 'Miss Trot' season 1, those friends gathered to hold the 'first love' concert, so I guess they prepared a medley of Koyote songs. I felt grateful and wanted to cheer them on, so I decided to surprise them by appearing on stage later. So, I decided to sing 'Bimong' and 'Soojeong.'"
While resting in the waiting room, the Koyote members directly discussed the controversies that arose after the video of the meeting with Moonwon. Shinji opened the conversation by saying, "This is the first upload since the last video," and Kim Jongmin said, "Shinji received a lot of attention, so we didn't know where to go." In response, Shinji apologized, saying, "I'm sorry," and Baekga added, "We felt we needed to be careful with our expressions on YouTube too."
Shinji also conveyed her feelings about the accusations and controversies surrounding Moonwon following the 'meeting the parents' video. She said, "But since you all expressed so much concern and worry, I couldn't help but read it. I wanted to know what you were saying. I'm told they were too scared to look, but I skimmed through it and felt bad. I think the members have been adversely affected, and there were many things to consider."
Shinji continued, "We are preparing a new album, and the release date has now been confirmed. I felt that so many fans have been hidden somewhere, worrying for us and cheering us on, so I'm trying to take it positively, humbly, and carefully, and I'm making a lot of effort to think it through."
Kim Jongmin comforted Shinji by saying, "So many people are showing interest now, and since they've spoken up, maybe you should listen to that and reflect on it. Think carefully about what path you should take and where you should go."
Shinji revealed, "There are so many people who think I'm getting married this year. Since it's still far off, it would be nice if you could watch slowly. But I have the members with me," and she added, "I mentioned earlier that I was really, really nervous before going on stage. It was the first stage since that incident, and it was a stage where I had to be very close to the audience. So, I secretly took medication in the car before going on stage because I couldn't calm down."
