Singer Cheon Myung-hoon conveyed his feelings directly to So-wol, the CEO of a Chinese dermatology clinic.
In the episode aired on the 16th, Cheon Myung-hoon's date with So-wol was depicted on Channel A's entertainment show "Modern Man Life: Husband Training" (hereafter referred to as "Husband Training"). His hairstyle with a middle parting attracted quite a bit of attention. Lee Seung-cheol asked, "What kind of hairstyle is that?" and Cheon Myung-hoon confidently said, "This hairstyle is Son Heung-min's."
Cheon Myung-hoon's mother asked him before he went on a date, "Did So-wol date for 10 years on the last episode of 'Husband Training'?" Based on the broadcast, it seemed that Cheon Myung-hoon was quite sincere.
Cheon Myung-hoon said, "We've known each other for 10 years. Today, I've decided to go on a date with So-wol," adding, "So-wol is a straightforward, down-to-earth, and strong person. It's nice to see that side of her after such a long time," and mentioned, "Is there someone who will catch me? Someone who will embrace me and take good care of me? When she gets playful and smiles like a girl when asked a teasing question, that's really nice. It makes her attractive."
His mother asked, "Are you dating seriously?" Cheon Myung-hoon replied, "Since I'm getting older, I do think about dating seriously. I didn't have any thoughts of marriage until now. But seeing my friend Kim Jong-min get married motivated me."
However, the date with So-wol started off awkwardly. In the scorching heat, the course Cheon Myung-hoon chose was a barefoot path on a clay road. Cheon Myung-hoon stated, "I really enjoyed walking barefoot on the clay path. I thought everyone would like it," which left everyone stunned.
So-wol complained, "Oppa, no! I won't do that!" as she pulled on her long pants. Lee Da Hae chimed in, saying, "I get that feeling. She left her pants down on purpose. Let's see how this goes for you. Watch out, you'll see," as she defended So-wol.
Lee Da Hae remarked, "I think So-wol would enjoy the barefoot walking experience in Korea," considering it in a different light. Cheon Myung-hoon explained, "She probably hasn't had this experience because of her work in the city," stating the reason for preparing this experience.
Later, the two headed to a jjimjilbang (Korean spa). Cheon Myung-hoon sang 'Chui Jung Jin Dam' by the band Jeonlamoe, particularly feeling sentimental during the line, "Even if my awkward words sound rustic and untrustworthy, I'm not the kind of person who just says anything." Shin Jin-hwa said, "You could feel the sincerity in every line of the lyrics. So-wol also took a step back, but she must have felt his sincerity."
While having a meal, Cheon Myung-hoon asked, "We've met a few times, but have I ever thought of you as a man, even for a moment?" So-wol responded, "If you act like this, it's a lie to say I don't think about it even for a second. Anyone who sees you sing is touched. It's you trying your best, isn't it?" Cheon Myung-hoon continued, "It's our third time meeting, would you like to date seriously from now on? Shall we start counting from today?"
However, So-wol rejected him, saying, "No! I still see you as my comfortable oppa (older brother) image, so it's surprising if you suddenly come on strongly."
