From SEVENTEEN to LE SSERAFIM and ENHYPEN, albums from HYBE music group artists have been included in the list of the top 10 selling physical albums in the U.S. this year, proving their strong presence in the mainstream pop market.
On the 16th (local time), the U.S. entertainment industry data research firm Luminate announced the '2025 Midyear Music Report.'
According to the report, ENHYPEN's mini-album 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' sold about 145,000 copies in the U.S. during the counting period (Jan. 3, 2025 - Jul. 5, 2025), securing 3rd place in the 'U.S. Top 10 CD Albums.' This achievement comes just one month after its release on June 5.
Additionally, in the category of 'U.S. Top 10 Albums' which includes digital album downloads, it ranked 9th. This indicates not only the collectible value of the albums but also that all the tracks on these albums enjoyed broad popularity.
ENHYPEN's mini-album 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' debuted at 3rd place (as of June 21) on the Billboard 200, the main album chart in the U.S., and has maintained its chart position for five consecutive weeks. Their popularity is expected to continue in the second half of the year.
With their 2nd full-length album 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD', ENHYPEN recorded the same ranking in two charts of the 2024 annual report. Their status as a 'top-tier' artist in the U.S., the largest pop market in the world, is evident.
SEVENTEEN's global influence is also steadily expanding. SEVENTEEN's 5th full-length album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' recorded the highest sales (2.92 million copies) among K-pop artist albums released this year, ranking 7th in the 'U.S. Top 10 Albums.'
This album demonstrated its strength by launching straight to 2nd place on the Billboard 200 (as of June 14). With this, SEVENTEEN has entered the Billboard main chart's 'Top 10' with seven consecutive albums, showcasing feats worthy of the title 'the best K-pop group.'
Previously, SEVENTEEN achieved the highest ranking for K-pop artists in the Billboard Boxscore 'Top Tours' category for both the 2024 annual and 2025 mid-year reports. They moved up from 31st place in 2024 to 3rd place in the first half of 2025, demonstrating strong box office power both in albums and performances.
LE SSERAFIM's progress is also noteworthy. Their mini-album 'HOT' secured 9th place in the 'U.S. Top 10 CD Albums.' Among K-pop girl groups, LE SSERAFIM is the only one to have entered the top 10 in physical album sales this year.
'HOT' peaked at 9th place on the Billboard 200 upon its release in March. It also topped the 'Top Album Sales' chart, which ranks based on physical album sales counted over a week in the U.S.
LE SSERAFIM will begin their first North America tour, '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT' IN NORTH AMERICA,' starting in September. Performances in Newark, Chicago, Grand Prairie, Inglewood, San Francisco, and Las Vegas have already sold out.
