Actress Wang Bit-na publicly criticized the national airline's service and caused a stir by editing her post just a day later. Some internet users interpret her sudden change in attitude as being conscious of public opinion.
On the 15th, Wang Bit-na posted complaints about the airport lounge and in-flight service along with photos on her SNS. He expressed disappointment about the lounge service, saying, "The lounge has no food, the cappuccino is tasteless, and the protein bar saved me."
He also mentioned the in-flight blanket and supplies, stating, "The blanket has changed and is good, but it's complicated to have something to put under it," and "The perfume was praised. But why did you remove my beloved shoehorn? The pouch is still..." expressing candid complaints.
This post quickly became a hot topic on online communities and SNS. Some internet users expressed sympathy, saying, "Wang Bit-na's honesty is refreshing," and "The lounge food really needs improvement," while others responded, "Is it necessary to publicly post this kind of thing?" and "The complaints are excessive."
After the controversy arose, Wang Bit-na edited the post the next day on the 16th. The complaints about the lounge were deleted, and comments about the in-flight service were changed to more complimentary remarks. He said, "After trying the pad that goes under the sheets, I found it hygienic and very cozy to sleep on," and, "The changed blanket is incredibly warm," and asked, "My beloved shoehorn is missing... could you return it to me?" adding a thumbs-up emoji about the perfume, stating, "It's so good!"
In response to this change, internet users are showing various reactions such as, "It seems that they are conscious of the criticism," and "The first post was honest, but it's disappointing that it was edited." However, neither Wang Bit-na nor her agency has provided any specific comments regarding the reason for the post's revision.
Meanwhile, Wang Bit-na debuted in 2001 with the drama "TV Novel: New Mother" and has been active in numerous popular works such as "Heaven's Heaven," "Hwang Jin Yi," and "My Five Sons." She married pro golfer Jeong Seung-woo in 2007 and gave birth to two sons, but they divorced in 2018. Her recent work is the drama "Crushology 101," which ended in May.
