Koyote's Shinji expressed her apologies to the members regarding the controversy surrounding her fiancé, Moonwon.
On the 16th, the tvN show 'You Quiz on the Block' featured Koyote members Kim Jong-min, Shinji, and Baekga, who have been active for 27 years.
Shinji is set to marry the younger singer Moonwon, who is seven years her junior, next year. It became a hot topic when it was revealed that Moonwon has children with his ex-wife. Subsequently, various allegations arose, leading to controversy. In response, Moonwon denied claims regarding premarital pregnancy with his ex-wife, fraud in real estate sales, and assault of a junior during his military service.
On that day, Shinji said about her marriage, "Since things are flowing in a bad direction, the members must have been upset too," adding, "To me, Koyote is family. I am watching all the comments and reactions in case it affects the team in any way." She continued, "The words 'You ruined Koyote' and 'It's your fault we failed' are the most frightening and painful to me."
Baekga noted, "My phone's wallpaper is Koyote," adding, "I felt that we are family. I realized how much the members care about Shinji."
Kim Jong-min remarked, "It must have been hard for her to accept what happens outside while protecting Koyote since she was young," and expressed, "From now on, I hope she pays more attention to her own happiness."
