Singer-songwriter Jeokjae responded directly to malicious comments that came after his marriage announcement.
On the 16th, Jeokjae posted a photo of himself walking with his dog on his personal account, writing, "Hey, universe, let's do this."
As fans commented on the shared daily life photo, one internet user left a provocative comment saying, "This is really breaking my heart, a married singer-songwriter."
In response, Jeokjae replied, "You're the one who's breaking my heart," and as another comment read, "This is really breaking my heart, a married man," Jeokjae responded with a finger gesture. He continued, "You'll see what it's like to be a married man, haha," to which he added, "Live your own life well and don't go around doing this with a private account."
Subsequently, the internet user did not stop and mocked, "I've never walked around like this, haha, I'm only doing this to you. I hear there are a lot of cancellation tickets now, haha, married Jeokjae," and, "People are going crazy trash-talking you, just so you know, you're going to be a married man, haha." He also commented, "Those like you, who show no consideration for fans, should realize how scary it is to have turned-away fans. Keep that in mind and live well as a married man,^^" which furrowed eyebrows.
Earlier, on the 1st, Jeokjae shared his marriage news through his personal SNS. His marriage partner is broadcaster Heo Song-yeon, who is the older sister of Kara's Heo Young-ji. Jeokjae stated, "I have found someone I promised to spend my life with. I met someone who understands and cherishes me as I am, and we decided to share our lives together moving forward."
He also shared his feelings about the marriage, saying, "I am a little nervous, scared, and afraid, but I would be grateful if you could send warm cheers and encouragement as I face a new beginning in life."
The two decided to tie the knot after dating quietly without public exposure, and Jeokjae responded directly to the malicious comments made regarding his marriage.
