Five years after the divorce mudslinging, actress Koo Hyun-sun and Ahn Jae-hyun are leading fulfilling lives alone. Expanding their domains as students and entrepreneurs, they are focusing on their respective activities while excelling in entertainment.
Koo Hyun-sun is currently making a name for herself as an entrepreneur. After her divorce from Ahn Jae-hyun, she dedicated herself to her studies, graduating at the top of her class from Sungkyunkwan University in film studies. She later enrolled in the KAIST Graduate School of Science Journalism to pursue a master's degree.
In particular, Koo Hyun-sun, who was focusing on her studies, drew attention as she was granted a patent for her self-invented "hair roll," marking her formal advancement into entrepreneurship. Previously, Koo had mentioned in a variety show that she was developing a hair roll. The patent for the product she developed was filed in July 2020 and officially registered in December 2021.
Subsequently, Koo Hyun-sun disclosed her ongoing activities as a busy entrepreneur by revealing her preliminary venture company certificate and agreements with brands. Notably, on the 16th, she posted several photos along with a caption saying, "I'm preparing for the launch," updating her followers about the agreement on her patented hair roll.
Koo Hyun-sun is continuing a vibrant second act in her life, starting her graduate studies immediately after her undergraduate graduation and wrapping up the commercialization of the hair roll she developed.
Meanwhile, Ahn Jae-hyun has been frequently appearing in entertainment shows. At the time of the divorce revelation, Ahn was starring in the drama "Human Condition." After the divorce was finalized in July 2020, he took over a year off from activities, returning in 2021 with the special spring camp of "New Journey to the West."
Since then, Ahn Jae-hyun began his acting activities in the drama "The Real Has Appeared!" last year, but he has been more often seen in entertainment programs. Through MBC's "Home Alone," he gave viewers a glimpse into his life post-divorce, drawing public interest, and participated in the dating variety show "End Love," featuring seniors over 50 last year.
Additionally, he joined the KBS 2TV entertainment program "Heart on Wheels," which began airing in May, focusing on his entertainment activities. In "Heart on Wheels," he attracted attention by confessing his feelings after the divorce, presenting a more relaxed and natural side of himself in entertainment.
