Jang Geun-suk, who is active as a singer and actor, revealed that he was unable to undergo surgery for 10 months due to the effects of the medical crisis while battling thyroid cancer.
On the 16th, Jang Geun-suk, Lee Hong-ki, Subin (TXT), and Kim Shin-young appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star.' Jang Geun-suk, who appeared on Radio Star for the first time in 33 years since his debut, said, 'Thyroid cancer was discovered last year. I didn't even tell my parents at the time,' adding, 'I didn't want to cause unnecessary worry.'
He added, 'I discovered the thyroid cancer very early on,' saying, 'I usually get a health check-up once a year, and it was found then. I had to wait because I had projects piling up, and then suddenly a surgery spot opened up, so I proceeded with it then.' Currently, Jang Geun-suk has been declared cancer-free.
Jang Geun-suk also revealed that he owns a building in Shibuya, Japan, which has attracted attention. Kim Shin-young explained, 'When I went to Shibuya, Japan, I saw women of various ages taking pictures of a certain building. It's a quaint but substantial building, and it's called the 'Jang Geun-suk building.' That's why fans and visitors are taking pictures there.' Jang Geun-suk responded, 'That's right. How did you know that? It's the building right behind the department store.'
