ArrC expressed their thoughts on a special collaboration through the release of their third mini album.
On the afternoon of the 16th at the SBS Prism Tower open hall in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, a media showcase was held to commemorate the release of ArrC's (Andy, Choi Han, Do Ha, Hyun Min, Ji Bin, Kkien, Lioto) third mini album 'HOPE.'
'HOPE' is an album that tells the story of emotions of 'hope,' which blooms even amidst the imperfect and repetitive realities of youth and grows stronger during consolidation. The title track 'awesome' is a hype chant track that modernly interprets the early 2000s hip-hop vibe, capturing ArrC's musical sensibility and vibe even in the face of life's misfortunes.
In particular, ArrC had collaborated on artwork with the original creator of the webtoon 'Sweet Home,' Hwang Young-chan, who snapped a scene from the music video. Ji Bin noted, "The original creator of 'Sweet Home' sent it after watching the music video. Thanks to Hwang Young-chan's stylish and unique reinterpretation, the artwork seems to have taken on a new charm."
Hyun Min remarked, "I have enjoyed the webtoon 'Sweet Home' for a long time, so this collaboration was meaningful. It was a new experience to see ArrC's visuals expressed in a webtoon. The emotional density we wanted to convey was meticulously expressed, making it fascinating and fun, as we felt like we had become the protagonists of 'Sweet Home.'"
Additionally, they are collaborating with the Indonesian NFT brand Karafuru. Hyun Min explained, "We plan to convey our message of 'hope.'" He then added, "Before the fan meeting exhibition pop-up store and music project, we plan to collaborate in various forms. It might also be fun to guess what characters the members resemble in an alter ego sense."
Meanwhile, ArrC's third mini album 'HOPE' will be released through music sites at 6 p.m. on the 16th.
