Comedian Kim Sook shared her feelings upon hearing Yoon Jung-soo's marriage announcement.
On the afternoon of the 16th, during a live broadcast of KBS Radio's 'Yoon Jung-soo and Nam Chang-hee's Mister Radio (abbreviated as Mira)', Kim Sook appeared as a guest.
Previously, 'Mira' DJ Yoon Jung-soo had announced his marriage plans, attracting attention. In the past, Yoon Jung-soo and Kim Sook had appeared together on a virtual marriage program, providing laughs as 'ex-husband' and 'ex-wife.' Kim Sook appeared on 'Mira' to publicly congratulate Yoon Jung-soo on his marriage and also to announce her departure from the broadcasting relationship.
In response, Yoon Jung-soo expressed his gratitude, saying, "Kim Sook rarely appears on the radio, but she graced us with her presence." Kim Sook stated, "I stood here with a very complicated heart. I will make a bombshell statement," generating anticipation.
Kim Sook remarked about her feelings after Yoon Jung-soo's marriage announcement, saying, "He did not tell me directly. He told a third party to make sure it was conveyed to me. That person called me to ask why he hadn't told me directly. Why didn't he just say it to me?"
Yoon Jung-soo joked, "I have some face to maintain. It would be a shame to lose the time we spent together in the virtual world, and I wanted to subtly bring some of Kim Sook's rising popularity to myself."
Kim Sook laughed, saying, "So I immediately called Yoon Jung-soo and said congratulations. But I asked if it was a fabrication." Yoon Jung-soo responded, "That was the first time in my life I had heard such a question. 'Does that woman know about marriage?' she asked," and he chuckled. In response, Kim Sook emphasized, "I told him to be honest. Is she a virtual character? He said she is a real person. I said congratulations sincerely."
Yoon Jung-soo noted, "Kim Sook was the first to call to congratulate me. The person I will marry was there with me. She listened closely to what Kim Sook said and commented on how wonderful she is. I told her not to judge only based on one aspect, but interestingly, both men and women seem to like Kim Sook. I'm curious about what's her secret after 10 years have passed."
He lamented, "After the show wrapped up two years of virtual marriage, Kim Sook soared in her career and won the KBS Entertainment Awards six years later. I had nothing scheduled for that day. Just different paths."
They agreed to get married if both are single in 2030. Kim Sook joked, "There are still five years left. Why rush when I can enjoy more?" to which Yoon Jung-soo replied, "No way. I can't let this person go," adding to the surprise.
