Ji Suk-jin is attracting attention by revealing that Yoo Jae-suk received several recruitment offers ahead of his re-signing.
Recently, Ji Suk-jin met and talked with Yoo Jae-suk, TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Nayeon, and Sana through the YouTube web entertainment show 'Pingeoko.'
On that day, Yoo Jae-suk opened up about TWICE, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, saying, 'It's already the 10th anniversary. Celebrating 10 years is a remarkable achievement,' while Ji Suk-jin praised, 'First of all, the best milestone, a 7-year re-signing. That's something significant. Receiving offers from elsewhere and a huge contract fee. To reject that and re-sign is something extraordinary.'
The reactions of the TWICE members to Ji Suk-jin's story were lukewarm. In this regard, Jihyo asked, 'I haven't received any specific offers, but how about you?' and Jeongyeon replied, 'You too? Me too.' Nayeon also inquired, 'Is it common to receive many offers around the end?'
Yoo Jae-suk responded, 'They come in a lot,' to which Nayeon replied, 'Oh... did they come to you?' Ji Suk-jin, who was listening, remarked, 'That person? I know him,' and added, 'He was incredible. At one time, he came to me saying, 'Hey, Jae-suk, your contract is ending. I can offer you a certain amount. Please relay this.'
Then Ji Suk-jin said, 'I relayed it. But he didn't go there,' and when Sana speculated, 'There must have been a stronger offer,' he responded, 'No, he didn't act based on money. At that time, he didn't.' Yoo Jae-suk also acknowledged, 'I had a conversation with a couple of places... about two places.'
Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-suk signed an exclusive contract with Antenna, led by his close friend Yoo Hee-yeol, in July 2021. Later, on June 30, 2023, he secured a 20.7% equity stake in Antenna from Kakao for 3 billion won, becoming the third-largest shareholder after Yoo Hee-yeol.
