Female vocalists representing Korea have come together.
The project group Sonijiyu, consisting of Son Seung-yeon, Lee Ye-jun, Ji Se-hee, and Yoo Sung-eun, released their first single 'Take My Hand' (A song for you) today (15th) at noon.
They won the grand prize together by performing 'One Candle' on KBS's 'Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend' episode featuring god in 2015, leaving a strong impression as the 'Vocal Avengers.' The bond formed on that stage has continued for nearly 10 years as a close friendship, and they have finally come together again through music.
The new song 'A Song for You' features a warm message: "No matter how much you collapse, I will always be by your side." It is a song of comfort and promise for those going through tough times, and the four members participated in the lyrics and composition to add authenticity.
The friendship of those who have always been the most reliable friends for each other has been fully infused into the music.
The production was handled by Klozer, who has been active across K-Pop and drama OST, along with Baek Ji-young, CNBLUE, Hwang Ga-ram, and Danny Goo. The Command K composition team led by him contributed to enhancing the song's completeness, and the diverse vocals showcasing each member's unique charm and emotion are expected to captivate listeners.
Sonijiyu said, "Just as we have been for each other, we hope this song will be a small strength for someone," adding, "This is a gift-like song for the fans who have waited a long time."
