Actor Kim Sun-ho has returned with a smooth yet wild charm.
Kim Sun-ho graced the cover of Elle's August issue.
In an interview conducted after the photoshoot, when asked about the strength to endure today's heat, he said, "The sea. Being next to the sea makes me feel excited for no reason (laughs). And it's the people I work with. The company staff also came far to show their support; I feel energized when the people I work with smile."
He also passionately portrayed the role of Chung-seob in the Netflix series "When Life Gives You Tangerines" and helped popularize the 'Kim Sun-ho challenge.' He laughed, saying, "I thought the challenge was a joke at first when I heard it was trending. It's a delightful and enjoyable thing for me as an actor. Nowadays, when I go to events, people request to reenact the winking scene, but I feel awkward and feel sorry that I can't do it properly."
He continued, "Like Chung-seob, I too am from Bongcheon-dong, so I felt nostalgic as the scenery in the work reflected what I saw in my childhood. It truly is a meaningful and beautiful work that reminded me of my parents' stories from that time."
Next, he acted as a multilingual interpreter Ju Ho-jin in the Netflix original series "Do You Understand This Love?" He expressed his excitement, saying, "It was a set where laughter never ceased. I communicated a lot with actress Go Youn-jung, and we filmed joyfully together. I hope everyone looks forward to it."
Having acted good characters through good stories for over 10 years since his debut, he mentioned, "I once asked an actor friend what 'good acting' is. At that time, I heard that making a more mature choice is good acting. It seems that good works and performances come when I exist in a more mature form next to us." He added, "I believe it is important for an actor to always understand what kind of person they are. I am diligently going through that process. As a human, I want to be a more friendly and comfortable presence."
