Singer-songwriter Ahn Yieun is presenting her sixth horror special series.
The agency DSP Media announced on its official SNS on the 14th that it is releasing a poster for Ahn Yieun's digital single "Jibak (地縛)" and shared that it will be released on the 17th.
The posted poster features a secluded house in a forest thick with fog, creating a chilling and eerie atmosphere. In particular, the phrase "something that came before them" is written in bold red alongside the song title and release date, adding to the intrigue.
Since 2020, Ahn Yieun has presented a horror song every summer that is filled with unique storytelling. Starting with "Neungsuhwa," she has developed her own genre called "horror specials for the ears" through songs like "Changgui," "Rat (RATvolution)," "Hongryeon," and "Scissors."
The new song "Jibak (地縛)" focuses more on primal fear for listeners who have been waiting for "Ahn Yieun's summer." Drawing on the motif of a Jibakryeong, Ahn Yieun personally directed the entire process of writing, composing, and arranging the song, just like her previous works. This single is also expected to include a Japanese version of "Jibak (地縛)," in which Ahn Yieun participated in the adaptation.
Ahn Yieun's sixth horror special series "Jibak (地縛)" will be released on the 17th at 6 p.m. through various streaming sites.
