Singer Yuseong-eun conveyed her feelings on the occasion of her 12th anniversary since debut.
Celebrating her 12th anniversary on the 15th, Yuseong-eun stated through her agency, JayzStar, "By the time I reached 12 years, I thought I would have achieved and grown more, but it seems like there is still a long way to go. Conversely, I think there are still many things I can do. I will continue to work hard."
Yuseong-eun first gained recognition by placing in the TOP 4 of Mnet's 'Voice Korea' Season 1 in 2012. She impressed the public with her soulful voice, emotional expression, and explosive singing ability, delivering a fresh shock to the audience. She officially debuted with 'Be OK' on July 15, 2013.
Since her debut, Yuseong-eun has received much love with numerous songs from 'Stop Right Here' to her recently released 'U'. She has also shown her talents in various music shows, including tvN's 'Perfect Singer VS', 'Birth of a Song', MBC's 'King of Masked Singer', and MBN's 'Lotto Singer', marking her 12th anniversary.
Earlier, Yuseong-eun released her new song 'U' in May, greeting her fans with music that has a soulful yet jazz-like feel. As she showcases a diverse range of musical styles from ballads to jazz and African American R&B, anticipation grows for Yuseong-eun's activities under her agency, JayzStar, which represents artists like Lim Chang-jung, Koyote, and Song Ga-in.
Additionally, she recently formed a vocal group called Sonijiyu with Son Seung-yeon, Lee Ye-jun, and Ji Se-hee. Sonijiyu is a project team formed through KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs' featuring the best four singers recognized for their vocal talent, thus being called the "vocal Avengers."
According to her agency, Yuseong-eun is currently preparing for a new song release aimed for this upcoming second half of the year. There are high expectations for her activities as she balances between group and solo performances.
