f(x) Luna shared her thoughts after the late Sulli passed away five years ago.
On the 15th, on the KBS1 show 'Morning Yard,' musical actress Choi Jung-won and f(x) Luna, who played a mother-daughter duo in the musical 'Mamma Mia,' appeared as guests.
That day, the two shared stories about their own mothers, moving the audience.
Huh Mij-in, the announcer, said, 'Luna, you must have gone through a lot since you debuted at such a young age.'
Huh Mij-in asked, 'It's hard physically, but isn't it also mentally tough?'
He said, 'During that time, my mother accompanied me along with my older sister for all my schedules. I couldn't be alone then, so they took care of me. I really wanted to give up my career as an idol, singer, and actress in musicals. I felt that this wasn't my path, and I thought I wasn't worthy to do it anymore.'
He continued, 'My mother said back then, 'No matter what, there's always a place for you to return to. If you fail, it's okay; if you feel lacking, it's okay. Try to challenge yourself more, do everything you want to do, and give up when it's time.' Thanks to my mother's words, I was able to endure those painful five years and rise healthily like this now.'
The late Sulli, a former member of f(x), passed away suddenly on Oct. 14, 2019, at the age of 25.
On the day the news of Sulli's death was announced, Luna, who was then performing in the musical 'Mamma Mia,' canceled her scheduled performance and visited the mortuary.
Later, in March 2020, while appearing on the MBC human documentary 'People Are Good,' Luna recalled the day Sulli passed away, saying, 'I heard the news and collapsed on the floor, crying loudly.'
Additionally, Luna posted a photo taken with the f(x) members in December of that year, expressing her feelings by saying, 'We had so much fun during our mischievous times. I miss f(x).' This emotional message garnered much support as she shared her recent updates of having regained her vitality after overcoming her pain.
