She continued, "Ten years on Earth is just a day on cat star. After just a few more nights, I will come to meet you" and added, "Every single minute and second I spent with you was so precious and happy. You will be the brightest star among the cat stars. Thank you, I love you. Let's meet soon, my little one." Kim Jung-nan confessed her gratitude and love, calmly expressing what she had not been able to say until the end while stroking Lulu.
While conveying the sadness of parting, Kim Jung-nan is taking another step as an actress.
Recently, in a video released on her personal YouTube channel, Kim Jung-nan confessed about her slump period along with behind-the-scenes of the drama. She said, "The works I did before 'SKY Castle' had rather bright and comical roles. As a result, I ended up repeating similar characters. No matter how much I tried to change my acting, it ultimately became a similar picture."
She added, "I wanted serious and dark roles, but they didn't come, so I boldly took a break from acting for a year," and stated, "While preparing for a play at the end, the script for 'SKY Castle' came in, and despite its short length, I was captivated by the character and decided to participate."
Reflecting on her 35 years of acting, she honestly revealed, "There were many times I felt like kicking the blanket because I was dissatisfied with my acting. Even now, I feel nervous and anxious during drama readings or on stage." Her affection for the stage and acting, along with her genuine feelings that she has endured while wavering, were clearly conveyed. Internet users expressed their support, saying, "I think Lulu will watch over actress Kim Jung-nan from the sky..." "I felt the sincerity and cried. Please stay strong" "An actress who is sincere in her acting, parting with Lulu is heartbreaking" "Overcoming her slump and standing up again, I hope she finds the true path of an actress."
Parting with a life and the time spent pondering her own path. Kim Jung-nan is moving towards the stage again after passing through all those moments. Just like the warmth from the cat she remembers, many fans are hoping that deeper emotions will be embedded in Kim Jung-nan's acting.
