Comedian Kim Joon-ho and Kim Ji-min became engaged on Sunday evening, the 13th, at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, lighting the wedding candles and tying the knot.
The wedding included cast members from the television program 'Miun Our Baby' and over 400 colleagues from the entertainment industry, with about 1,200 guests attending to support and bless the couple's future.
The host for the first part of the ceremony was singer Lee Sang-min, and comedian senior Kim Dae-hee walked in with the bride's hand dressed in a traditional outfit to represent her late father, creating an emotional moment.
The bride's close friend, talent and film actress Hwang Bora's 13-month-old son took on the role of the ring bearer, walking down the aisle and presenting the rings, while Kim Dae-hee read the marriage proclamation as the ceremony continued.
The bride's younger brother showed tears during his congratulatory speech, and the congratulatory song was performed by the musician Gummy with 'You Are My Everything.' When Byun Jin-seob sang 'We Need Our Love,' guests joined in to sincerely congratulate the couple on their marriage.
In the second part of the ceremony, as a surprise, Kim Ji-min's mother read a letter conveying blessings for their future, and when twin comedians Lee Sang-ho and Lee Sang-min sang 'The Night Train,' their comedian colleagues came up on stage to dance together, bringing joy to the occasion.
Kim Joon-ho and Kim Ji-min announced through their invitation, "Having met as seniors and juniors and shared precious times as lovers, we now wish to spend eternal time as a couple. We aim to be a fun pair of comedians in our married life."
Lee Eun-kyung, director of iWedding, who handled the couple's wedding preparations, noted, "I have handled the wedding preparations for numerous celebrity couples, but the preparation process for Kim Joon-ho and Kim Ji-min's wedding was the most delightful and thoughtful down to the smallest detail." She also remarked, "The wedding ceremony conveyed the couple's personality with a blend of emotion, joy, tears, and laughter, making it a joyous occasion."
