The Chinese member of the group TripleS, Shin Yu, has come under fire for supporting the 'One China' policy.
Recently, screenshots of conversations Shin Yu had with fans through the fan communication platform From were released on online communities and social media, drawing attention.
At the time, Shin Yu stated, "Macau originally belongs to China," adding, "So do Hong Kong and Taiwan," voicing support for the 'One China' principle that Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau belong to China.
As fans expressed concern, Shin Yu retorted, "Why should I be afraid of getting criticized? Did I say something wrong?" and firmly stated, "Those who do not acknowledge this should not come to my From."
