Singer Gummy has announced various music activities with the support of her husband, actor Jo Jung-seok.
Gummy appeared in a content video titled "Gummy X Jo Jung-seok, from Matching Voices to Duets?!" released on the YouTube channel "Cheonggye Mountain Dangi Records" on the 11th, where she shared various stories with Dangi Dad.
Previously, the channel featured Gummy's AI cover content of "Don't Forget Me" which garnered attention. In response, Gummy noted, "I definitely saw it. Thanks to that, my song has been reevaluated, and I am very grateful."
Gummy also created laughter by playing a matching voice game with Dangi Dad, who revealed he is a "true fan" of Jo Jung-seok, and was intrigued as she touched a mole on Dangi Dad's face.
When asked about the content she would like to create if she became a YouTuber, Gummy mentioned "vocal lessons," stating, "The part that people are most curious about is music. Many want to learn. I want to seek them out and help them with corrections." She also shared, "I briefly helped Mr. Jung Sang-hoon when he started a new musical project," revealing her experience in vocal lessons.
As another content she wants to challenge, Gummy mentioned "parenting talk," expressing, "As a working mom, I want to listen to and discuss the concerns of mothers. Wouldn't that be fun?"
Selecting "You Are My Everything," "Should Have Been Friends," "Amnesia," and "Remember All My Days and That Time" as songs she feels attached to, Gummy explained, "As my time as a singer increases, the songs that many remember and like become memorable to me as well."
Gummy also shared an acapella medley of "Stages of Farewell" which she previously presented at her concert. The emotions of farewell were expressed through songs such as "When You Return," "Should Have Been Friends," "Amnesia," "There is No Love," and "Since I Loved You... That's Enough," all performed with Gummy's powerful vocals and mesmerizing tone, providing a thrilling experience.
The duet stage between Gummy and Dangi Dad also provided a treat for the ears. Gummy created sweet harmonies with Dangi Dad on the duet tracks "First Hello" and "You in a Faded Photo," which she had previously released with Jo Jung-seok.
Finally, Gummy revealed, "I am currently preparing my 6th regular album. It's been a year since I moved to AMEBA Culture. I am working hard to present more varied music. Please look forward to it," generating excitement among her fans about her recent circumstances and future activity plans.
This year, Gummy released a single titled "Take Care" in collaboration with Dynamic Duo and is currently meeting fans through various festival stages. She also participated in the vocal performance of the class mission soundtrack "Flip Flop (Prod. Padi)" for Mnet's "World of Street Woman Fighter" with SINCE.
Gummy married actor Jo Jung-seok in 2018. The couple became parents in 2020 with the birth of a healthy daughter.
