The sitcom-like "mother-son chemistry" between Im Woo-il and his mother in "Home Alone" is heralding the birth of a legend.
In today's (Nov. 11) broadcast of MBC's "Home Alone" (directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Kim Jin-kyung, Lee Kyung-eun, Moon Gi-young), Im Woo-il's "filial duty mission" to help his injured mother at their family home will be revealed.
Enjoying motorcycle riding, Im Woo-il arrives at his family home where his mother and their pet dog, "Bong-soon," live. The home is adorned with vibrant flowers, potted plants, and Im Woo-il's trophies, adding warmth. He visits his family home every week to help his mother, who has injured her foot. As soon as he enters, a table set with his mother's meal welcomes Im Woo-il. He sits down with his mother and hurriedly eats while taking care of her health.
After their warm meal, Im Woo-il takes his mother to the senior center she usually visits. On the way, he stops at a fruit shop to buy fruits for the seniors at the center. Published photos capture Im Woo-il and his mother parked in the parking lot to go to the fruit shop. The sight of Im Woo-il hurriedly getting out of the car while his mother coolly walks ahead creates laughter.
In the published photos, Im Woo-il is seen flustered in front of a closing elevator, holding a box filled with fruits in one hand and a watermelon in the other. Curiously, their pet dog "Bong-soon" is inside the elevator just before it closes, raising questions about the situation.
Meanwhile, Im Woo-il unexpectedly holds a signing event and photo time at the senior center he visits with his mother. When Im Woo-il arrives at the center, the mothers greet him warmly, saying, "Seeing him in person, he is handsome." Im Woo-il cannot hide his delight, beaming at their hospitality.
As Im Woo-il heads home with "Bong-soon" to complete the remaining "filial duty missions" for his mother, there is anticipation about whether he can successfully fulfill all the "filial duty missions."
The scene of Im Woo-il performing his "filial duty mission," reminiscent of a sitcom, can be seen in today's (Nov. 11) episode of "Home Alone," which airs at 11:10 p.m.
