Ko So-young, who decided to join the family trip five days late due to her schedule, began packing while introducing her Hawaii travel looks.
Ko So-young noted, "I'm planning to bring a few pretty sundresses just in case I get to film a YouTube video, like resort looks, a little bit like sundresses. This isn't a formal awards ceremony dress; it's just something comfortable to wear. I've been collecting dresses for a long time," as she introduced dresses in various styles.
Pulling out a yellow dress, she said, "Doesn't this go a bit with Hawaii fashion? It's Hawaii maintenance fashion." She explained, "You really need to wear something comfortable at the beach. This one is made of linen, so it has pockets, which is nice."
At that moment, while showcasing an off-shoulder dress, Ko So-young remarked, "Wearing something like this to the beach would get sand all over it. When I go to the beach, I always wear shorts and a short-sleeve shirt. Honestly, wearing these kinds of clothes to the beach is just a lie. It's for Instagram."
She continued, "With two dogs and a lot of family members, I can't stroll around elegantly as I thought. I've tried bringing nice bags and pretty bags to Hawaii, but they don't fit. It's really just about having a hand bag or an eco bag, there's a certain vibe you have when you carry that in that country. If I suddenly dress up, wear stilettos, and carry a Kelly bag, it just doesn't fit," making everyone laugh.
In particular, on that day, Ko So-young attracted attention by saying, "Want to see something fun? This is my wedding dress," revealing that it was the wedding dress from her ceremony 15 years ago.
Ko So-young shared, "This was made by Mr. Oscar de la Renta himself," revealing that the famous fashion designer from Latin America personally crafted it, as she unveiled the voluminous dress.
She continued, "Originally, I wanted to wear a very simple mermaid dress, but I had Jun-hyuk, right? Since it was the fifth month of marriage, it actually didn't show much, but I felt like the thief who has cold feet," explaining that "I wanted to make it really extravagant to divert attention."
Ko So-young, who still keeps the dress, said she plans to pass it down to her daughter someday. She reminisced, "I have this dress to dress Yoon Seol-i when she gets married later, like how my mom dressed me at my wedding."
