On the 10th broadcast of KBS2's variety program *Problem Child in House*, Hong Jin Kyung engaged in a humorous expose regarding Hwang Kwanghee's 'phone reception habits.'
On that day, Hong Jin Kyung remarked, "When I call Kwanghee for an invitation, I intentionally do not answer the first call like a code," adding, "I have to hang up and call a second time for him to answer. Who do you think you are, answering the phone like it's a spy operation?" This drew a hearty laugh from the audience.
She then expressed her confusion, saying, "I heard that the first call is automatically blocked because he has his cellphone on sleep mode. Why on earth does he keep it on sleep mode all the time?" and raised her voice, stating, "He selectively answers calls and only responds to texts when he has to. He really needs to change that."
In response, Hwang Kwanghee, seemingly flustered, joked, "Did you call me to criticize me?" and soon explained, "During my idol days, I had very little personal time. Constant calls from the company stressed me out, so I habitually set my phone to sleep mode from then on."
