Beenzino and Stephanie Michova have revealed the interior of their newlywed home for the first time.
On the 9th, a video titled "The sweet newlywed home remodeled by Michova♥Beenzino from a 50-year-old house that was about to collapse" was uploaded on Stephanie Michova's YouTube channel.
That day, Michova said, "I have been living in Korea for about 6 years now and recently became a mom. I will start YouTube again from today" and stated, "I will start with the house tour." Afterwards, Michova introduced the house with a yard and stone steps. She expressed her excitement, saying, "This is a 50-year-old house that we live in. I couldn't sleep well because I was so excited about the first filming."
Michova revealed, "This house is from the 80s, and when I first saw it, the yard was a complete jungle. The house had been empty for almost 5 years. We did all the remodeling ourselves. It was really hard." Beenzino noted, "We did all of that while she was pregnant," and Michova explained, "We did everything with a happy heart. Without any interior designer, we called The Man from Nowhere for the installations, and for the painting, carpenter work, and because the bathroom was too difficult, we hired an interior designer just for the bathroom," drawing admiration.
She honestly shared, "When we were remodeling this house, it was a bit difficult to talk in Korean with the expert bosses. Because I can't speak Korean well. They kept explaining with pictures. I just wanted to design it myself. I had confidence and said, 'I can do this myself.' But honestly, I can't do it well."
After that, Beenzino and Michova pointed out the living room fireplace as "the thing they are most proud of." Michova noted, "It was originally there, but I took apart all the parts and used paint to paint it myself," indicating satisfaction by saying, "I can't use wood, but I use electric candles for a cozy feeling."
The production team asked, "How long did the construction take?" Beenzino replied, "We started in October 2023, and when we just looked at the house, it took a year. We came whenever we had time and did things. It wasn't continuous construction."
Next, Michova introduced the dining room after the living room. She explained, "This is our spot with the 'boomerang chair' made by a Danish designer. But this suddenly became very expensive. And it was hard to find. I bought it before it got expensive, but suddenly it became very popular," providing insights into the background. Beenzino mentioned, "It was expensive back then, but now it's even more expensive. It must have cost around 3 to 4 hundred. I thought it was expensive back then, thinking how could I buy something this costly, but now it's twice as expensive to sell."
On the second floor, there was the master bedroom. In the master bedroom, the open view overlooking Namsan Tower drew admiration. Michova said, "It's absolutely beautiful," while revealing, "This room was really crazy" due to the mold all over the wallpaper, struggling to clean it off. She continued on the bathroom, saying, "This bathroom is the main bathroom, the one we use the most. I wished it could be like a spa. Calm and that kind of feeling."
Next, Michova's wardrobe was revealed, and the production team commented, "There aren't as many clothes as I expected." Michova explained, "I've organized a lot. Clothes and bags that I use a lot these days." The production team asked, "What's the most expensive bag?" and Michova pointed out, "I think it's Chanel." Beenzino admitted, "I haven't been able to shop like this while the house was under construction for a long time. I haven't been able to give any gifts. I've spent everything on the house," and Michova confirmed, "Exactly. When I shop now, I compare it to the painting of our house. 'If I buy this bag, we could redo our floor,' I think. I haven't bought much."
Finally, Michova's studio was revealed. Michova said, "I fell in love with this house because of this view. I do my Korean homework and paintings here, and I have many hobbies, so I'm always doing something. This is where I gather the things I love," and she pulled out EXO Kai merchandise saying, "The most important among them is this." Beenzino added, "In the old house, there was a space just for collecting Kai items. But I got jealous and said, if you're going to do this, I can't live here. I've liked Kai for a long time. That's why Kai got discharged from the military. I saw him looking at his phone and smiling, and it turned out to be a live stream of Kai's discharge," bringing laughter.
Meanwhile, Beenzino and Michova reportedly attracted attention after purchasing a three-story detached house (building area of 450㎡, or 136.13 pyeong) in Seongbuk-dong, Seoul, for 4.5 billion won in July 2023 and settling the balance in September. The couple got married in August 2022 and welcomed their first son in November last year.
