'I'm Solo' season 22's Yeong-sook expressed confidence in her popularity and hinted at a desire to appear on television shows, but she was overshadowed by the popularity of the season 16 members and season 22's Ok-soon.
On the 7th, Yeong-sook from season 22, who appeared on KBS Joy's 'Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller', expressed her ambition to transition into a broadcaster by stating, "I am the most famous among the 22nd season. I even have catchphrases. I have continued to appear on broadcasts after the show. The daycare is being run with my mother, so I can return anytime and I can also run it myself."
Having learned acting when she was young, she confidently stated that she would take any broadcast offer. Seo Jang-hoon advised her, saying, "There are about 30,000 people exaggerating their broadcasting skills. You need to do better than those people to be used. If you just go out, you might regret it. If you want to challenge yourself, you need to be thoroughly prepared."
However, after the broadcast, other participants started to garner more attention than Yeong-sook from season 22.
Season 22's Ok-soon, who recently remarried season 22's Kyung-soo, posted updates about her dress tour on Instagram, stirring excitement online. She mentioned, "I thought there wouldn't be a dress in my life," and added, "When the door opened with me in the first dress... and I saw my brother and son... tears welled up. I'm not sure what emotion I was feeling."
Season 16's Ok-soon revealed surprising news of her pregnancy on her personal SNS on the 9th, saying, "Though I had a painful experience once, in a corner of my heart, the dream of a beautiful 'family' and a wonderful 'mother' has always been there. However, it hasn't come as easily as I hoped. But I am really grateful that I have met someone who loves me just as I am, and that love has become a miracle in one time."
She shared even ultrasound pictures, saying, "I still can't believe it, but every day I feel a new life growing inside me and I spend each day filled with excitement and gratitude. When I first heard the news, I couldn't believe it and spent the day in tears," and added, "Actually, I am so grateful that a baby came to me all at once."
In contrast, season 16's Yeong-sook closed her SNS after becoming a criminal. On the 9th, the Daegu District Court's Criminal Division 10 issued a guilty verdict, imposing a fine of 2 million won on Yeong-sook for violating the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation and insult). She was charged with distributing exaggerated and distorted private conversations with Sang-cheol from season 16 through her SNS and live broadcasts, and the court pointed out that her actions were beyond common sense.
Immediately after the ruling, Sang-cheol expressed his feelings on his SNS, saying, "I would like to thank everyone who has believed and supported me until now," and added, "I hope this verdict will bring comfort to everyone who watched the case and suffered secondary damage, indicating that 'the law is functioning.' I am grateful for the court's fair judgment and deeply appreciate my attorney for representing me with patience."
