As their comeback approaches, the group TWICE delivered a brief yet intense eye contact in the second music video teaser for their new song "THIS IS FOR."
TWICE will release their fourth full-length album "THIS IS FOR" and its title track on the 11th. JYP Entertainment revealed the teaser for the title track "THIS IS FOR" on their official SNS channel on the 7th, followed by the second video released at midnight on the 9th, two days ahead of the comeback, raising expectations for their return.
In the new teaser, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are positioned among dozing people, bowing politely. Then, Jihyo enters the frame singing the upbeat new song, and a scene where all nine members look at the camera while singing the lyrics "turn it up" leaves a deep impression. "THIS IS FOR" is a song that sings about confidence and assertiveness, filled with energy fitting for a hot summer.
The new album includes the title track "THIS IS FOR" as well as "FOUR," "OPTIONS," "MARS," "RIGHT HAND GIRL," "PEACH GELATO," "HI HELLO," "BATTITUDE (NAYEON, JEONGYEON, MOMO, MINA)," "DAT AHH DAT OOH (SANA, JIHYO, DAHYUN, CHAEYOUNG, TZUYU)," "LET LOVE GO (JEONGYEON, MOMO, SANA, TZUYU)," "G.O.A.T. (MINA, DAHYUN, CHAEYOUNG)," "TALK (NAYEON, JIHYO)," "Seesaw," and "Heartbreak Avenue," totaling 14 tracks. The collaboration with global songwriters hints at the birth of a new masterpiece.
TWICE will meet fans worldwide following the release of their new album, which is like a generous gift, at 1 p.m. on the 11th, launching their sixth world tour "THIS IS FOR." This tour will kick off with a grand performance at the sold-out Incheon Inspire Arena from July 19-20, where all additional seats were opened due to strong demand. The performance venues for Incheon, Osaka, Aichi, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Macau, Bulacan, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, and Bangkok will all feature 360-degree open seating, allowing for a more immersive viewing experience of the boundary-crossing performances.
Additionally, the members will perform a headlining stage at the large-scale music festival "Lollapalooza Chicago" in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, on August 2, local time, to widely showcase the presence of the "global top girl group."
