Yui, Geum Sae-rok, Park Juhyun, and Seol In-ah are showing signs of creating a new history through boxing.
The first episode of tvN 'Iron Girls 2' (directed by Bang Geul-yi) will air at 8:40 p.m. on the 11th and will feature the boxing champion challenges full of blood, sweat, and tears from Yui, Geum Sae-rok, Park Juhyun, and Seol In-ah. The Iron Girls, who are taking on the extreme sport of boxing, revealed their burning determination and viewing points.
Firstly, the eldest sister Yui said, "Boxing is a sport I've never tried in my life, so I'm anxious, and I feel like, 'What should I do?' similar to the cycling of a triathlon." She added, "It's not a sport I promised myself to try, but I'm going to train with more passion and do my best to overcome my fears."
Geum Sae-rok, who has newly joined this season, also likened boxing to a comprehensive art, igniting her will. She stated, "I think it's a really difficult sport because everything has to be good: fundamentals, physical strength, technique, luck, and strategy. Even if my body is in pain, I'm determined to manage it and give my all to become a proud new member."
There is a growing focus on the growth story of Park Juhyun, who was considered the weakest in terms of physical strength last season but has emerged as an icon of sheer will by successfully completing a triathlon. She showed her strong will, saying, "The fear of the sport of boxing itself is great, but I want to win in this battle with myself again."
Seol In-ah expressed her feelings about challenging boxing, saying, "I feel excited and nervous, and honestly, it feels overwhelming. However, it holds significance for me that I am doing something I really wanted to learn." She continued, "When I took on the triathlon, many keywords like 'impossible' and 'excessive' followed me. I think many people feel the same about boxing, but I will train hard and try to make those words disappear."
As the Iron Girls' solid determination raises expectations, there is also curiosity about the fun points that will make 'Iron Girls 2' even more interesting to watch. Regarding this, Yui said, "Each member has different fears, and I would appreciate it if you would watch how we overcome them and grow," while Park Juhyun noted, "Please join us in our heartfelt challenge," promising that it will be a genuine journey.
Meanwhile, Geum Sae-rok mentioned, "The members have different personalities, and the way they approach the match is also different, but the chemistry that arises from the intense heart shared during training and their different charms is also a point to watch." Seol In-ah also highlighted "the different boxing styles, traits, growth stories of the four members, and above all, the fair competition unfolding in the ring," intensifying anticipation for the first broadcast.
On the other hand, in the preview video for episode one that was released earlier, we can get a glimpse of Yui, Geum Sae-rok, Park Juhyun, and Seol In-ah's challenging journey of 120 days to become boxing champions. Their determination to rise again even when they want to give up or feel they can't, and their moments of transforming from soft hands into fiery fists, from poor stamina to steel-like endurance, are stirring up support.
