Fly, shoot, and stab. A glimpse of the spectacular action filming in 'The All-Knowing Reader Perspective' has been captured.
On the 9th, the production team of the film 'The All-Knowing Reader Perspective' (directed by Kim Byeong-woo, produced by Lotte Entertainment and Smilegate, distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Realize Pictures, co-produced by MYM Entertainment, Smilegate Realize, and The Present Company, abbreviated as 'The All-Knowing Reader') revealed behind-the-scenes stills of the action.
'The All-Knowing Reader Perspective' is a fantasy action film in which the world of the novel becomes reality on the day the novel, serialized for over 10 years, concludes, and the only reader, 'Kim Reader,' must survive in a collapsed world alongside the protagonist 'Yu Joong-hyuk' and his companions. The film is adapted from the popular web novel of the same name.
The stills released showcase the passion and on-site feelings of the actors, who are in perfect harmony with their characters. The actors, who received various training at an action school even before shooting began, proved that the sweat they shed was not in vain, skillfully executing high-level action moves while wearing wires and wielding large weapons with ease.
First, Ahn Hyoseop, playing 'Kim Reader,' dedicated himself to practicing wire action for a high-altitude action scene, impressing the crew with his incredible focus and stamina.
Lee Min-ho, portraying the protagonist 'Yu Joong-hyuk,' had to struggle not only with the action but also with the weight of a long leather coat to craft scenes where he wields various weapons freely. Unlike 'Kim Reader' and his companions, who grow gradually, Lee Min-ho had to showcase strong action from the start, which undoubtedly increased his pressure. However, it is said that he led the set cheerfully and displayed remarkable concentration.
Additionally, Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Nana, and Jisoo, who play 'Yu Sang-a,' 'Lee Hyun-seong,' 'Jung Hee-won,' and 'Lee Ji-hye,' respectively, created unique action scenes that highlighted each character's characteristics and weapons. In the initial action scene where the subway turns 180 degrees as the world of the novel becomes reality, Chae Soo-bin had to perform the challenging act of hanging from the ceiling of the subway. This scene required the production team to physically overturn the subway set to heighten the sense of reality, requiring the actors to shoot while hanging from wires. Despite the strenuous shooting environment, Chae Soo-bin flawlessly delivered the scene with unwavering performance.
Shin Seung-ho, embodying a character with strong physical capabilities and excellent defensive power, always emitted a reliable energy by protecting his teammates at the forefront, while Nana energetically ran around for every shoot with a dagger, producing flashy and strong actions.
"Shooting action sequences with actors who have great physical conditions allowed us to achieve spectacular and exciting action scenes like never before," noted action director Jeong Yun-hun, unable to hide his delight, adding that "finding the charm of the actors makes watching the movie more enjoyable and thrilling."
The film 'The All-Knowing Reader Perspective' will be released in theaters nationwide on the 23rd.
