Singer Lee Hyori recently reflected on her busy broadcasting schedule over the past month and shared her honest feelings.
On the 8th, Lee Hyori appeared as a regular guest on the monthly corner 'Monthly Lee Hyori' of MBC FM4U's 'Perfect Day Lee Sang-soon.' While sharing news with her husband, DJ Lee Sang-soon, Lee Hyori said, "I think I had a lot of TV exposure over the past month."
He explained, "I met (Kim) Jong-min at the wedding, and he said he wanted to go on YouTube since he moved to Seoul. So, I set the recording date for 'Pinky' but then got a call for 'You Quiz' too. When I said I decided to go on 'Pinky,' he asked, 'It's the 300th special, so please take care of it.'"
Suddenly busy due to overlapping variety show schedules, Lee Hyori said, "I think I spent the month in a tense state," and noted, "I'm grateful, but I feel like there's a cost to speaking a lot, so I'm always on edge."
When Lee Sang-soon said, "There have been a lot of articles from those programs," Lee Hyori nodded and said, "When I was younger, I could say anything because they'd think, 'She's young.' But as I get older, the sense of responsibility seems to grow." Nonetheless, she added with a smile, "I think about reducing my words, but then I shouldn't go on talk shows. I just need to speak and manage the aftermath well."
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori appeared as the last guest on the MBC Every1 program 'That Oppa at the Tteokbokki Restaurant' aired in May 2022, mentioning her plans for a second child by saying, "I don't want to go through IVF. I would be grateful if it happens naturally."
Although this statement was revived in online communities and received backlash, Lee Hyori is quietly following her path.
