The first-generation mukbang YouTuber Banzz deleted his channel and opened a new one.
On the 7th, YouTuber Banzz opened a new channel 'Banzz BANZZ' and uploaded a video titled 'I have deleted 2.05 million channels.'
The released video includes memories from his first start, a jumbo ramen mukbang dated November 26, 2013, to just before the deletion. The first video, filmed without a tripod by asking a restaurant staff member, features Banzz saying, 'If I could go back, I think I would have tried harder.'
Earlier, Banzz participated in a special match with comedian Yoon Hyung-bin at the 'Gobne Road FC 073' event held on the 28th of last month, pledging, 'If I lose, I will delete my channel.' The result was a first-round TKO loss. After a week of grace, he literally erased his 12 years.
Before the deletion, he said, 'I watched all the videos again like a diary. It felt like the end of vacation. The disappointment that cannot be explained in words' and got emotional. He then added, 'It feels like letting go of a loved one.' In this way, more than 3,300 videos disappeared. The channel with 2.05 million subscribers no longer exists.
However, the end was soon a beginning. A new banner prepared by the production team was revealed, and Banzz declared, 'I am not doing this alone anymore. I will do better than before,' announcing 'Banzz Season 2.' He remarked, 'This is Banzz, a new but experienced starter. I will return to my original intention and start again,' stepping forward more calmly than anyone.
Meanwhile, Banzz established himself as a representative of 'neat mukbang' as a first-generation mukbang YouTuber and gained significant popularity. In addition to broadcasting activities, he has connected with countless fans through YouTube content.
