Park Ji-yoon and Jung Hyung-seok shared their story about facing a divorce crisis.
On the 7th, in the SBS program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2: You Are My Destiny,' Park Ji-yoon, who has been married for 17 years, said she experienced a breakup crisis with her husband, voice actor Jung Hyung-seok.
Park Ji-yoon met Jung Hyung-seok at a department store in Yeouido and mentioned that she was hungry, but Jung suggested going to Seooreung to eat makguksu. Park noted that she has a personality that insists on going to places Jung wants to go, so she refrained from complaining about her hunger and headed to Seooreung together. However, the makguksu restaurant Jung mentioned was closed.
Park Ji-yoon remarked, "It's not that I've been angry just once. There have been so many cases like this since our dating days and through our marriage." She added, "I tend to look for and confirm things in advance. But my husband often tells me while we're on our way. I've experienced this too much, and even talking about it has had no effect."
Jung Hyung-seok placed the blame on his wife, saying, "I remembered the location clearly. It was supposed to be a left turn, but my wife went straight." Eventually, Park Ji-yoon and Jung Hyung-seok returned home in a cold state.
In the home of Park Ji-yoon and Jung Hyung-seok, there was a clothing room solely for Jung, which caught attention. Jung changed into a gown for home and had a meal. Park shared with their daughter about what had happened that day, mentioning that Jung did not apologize. Jung remarked, "I didn't commit a grave sin, did I?" and turned away.
Park Ji-yoon talked about how Jung usually doesn't apologize. Jung said, "I write a lot of letters." To this, Kim Gu-ra agreed, saying, "There is a time limit on apologies. Writing a letter the next day holds no meaning."
Meanwhile, on that day, Park Ji-yoon stated that after a conflict with Jung Hyung-seok in the past, she decided to break up and left a letter before going on a trip with the kids for a week. Park said, "I always spent time with work and the kids at home. I thought my husband seemed happier being with others than with his family at that time."
Jung Hyung-seok said he was scared by his wife's notice of separation, and he couldn't bring himself to talk to her after she returned from the trip. Park Ji-yoon candidly mentioned, "It felt like he was ignoring me because there were no words. He reflected and promised to do better, so I let it go," which drew attention.
