Actress Lee Tae-ran returns as the wife of a chaebol family through 'Glorious Days.'
KBS 2TV's new weekend drama 'Glorious Days' (directed by Kim Hyung-seok / written by So Hyun-gyeong / produced by Studio Coming Soon, Studio Bom, Monster Union) tells a generationally relatable family melodrama about 'Everyone has their glorious days, whether in the present, past, or future. Glorious days are encountered with different meanings.'
Lee Tae-ran delivers a compelling performance as Go Seong-hee, the wife of successful corporations boss Park Jin-seok (played by Park Seong-geun). Go Seong-hee is a character who has struggled to escape poverty and, based on her keen insight and delicate psychological perception, remarries Jin-seok to rise to the position of a chaebol family's wife. Seong-hee appears elegant and kind on the outside, but lives as a cold and thorough realist on the inside, serving as a key figure that drives the tension in the drama.
The stills released today, 7th, showcase Lee Tae-ran's elegant yet charismatic visuals, perfectly embodying Go Seong-hee. The restrained glamour of her styling, deep gaze, and relaxed smile simultaneously demonstrate the dignity and resolve of a chaebol family's wife.
In another cut, the unique soft and graceful atmosphere of Go Seong-hee is vividly sensed. Her subtle smile gives a gentle and kind impression while also evoking curiosity about the hidden intentions behind it.
Meanwhile, after 12 years since her last appearance on KBS weekend dramas with 'Wangga Family,' Lee Tae-ran embarks on a new acting transformation through 'Glorious Days' with a deeper acting skill set.
'Glorious Days' production team noted, 'Lee Tae-ran will bring unique charms with a look perfectly blended into her character each episode.' They added, 'We hope viewers look forward to the unpredictable and intriguing story developments that Go Seong-hee will unfold.'
'Glorious Days' will air its first broadcast on August 9 (Saturday) at 8 p.m. as a follow-up to 'For Eagle Brothers.'
