TWICE has released the teaser for the music video of their witty new song 'THIS IS FOR' for the first time.
TWICE is sequentially opening teaser content ahead of the release of their 4th regular album and the title track of the same name 'THIS IS FOR' on the 11th. Various teasers, including a well-feeling concept film, photos, and trendy sneak peek videos that foreshadow a notable album, are gathering enthusiastic responses from K-pop fans. JYP Entertainment heightened the excitement by showcasing the teaser for the title track music video on TWICE's official SNS channel at midnight on the 7th.
The video begins with the narration, "She should have realized when the director said 'Let's have fun! THIS IS FOR'" and shows Momo staring blankly into space. Following this, scenes of Sana and Jihyo dancing excitedly beside her and Tzuyu watching them unfold. The screen transitions to Jungyeon touching her forehead, Dahyun lying on her side and being moved somewhere, Nayeon and Mina seemingly looking for someone, and Chaeyoung hiding, completing the teaser. The unexpected situation and the playful chemistry of the nine members spark interest and heighten curiosity for the complete version.
The new album 'THIS IS FOR' includes the title track and unit songs featuring fresh member combinations such as 'BATTITUDE (NAYEON, JEONGYEON, MOMO, MINA)', 'DAT AHH DAT OOH (SANA, JIHYO, DAHYUN, CHAEYOUNG, TZUYU)', 'LET LOVE GO (JEONGYEON, MOMO, SANA, TZUYU)', and 'G.O.A.T. (MINA, DAHYUN, CHAEYOUNG)', along with 'TALK (NAYEON, JIHYO)' and a total of 14 tracks including 'FOUR', 'OPTIONS', 'MARS', 'RIGHT HAND GIRL', 'PEACH GELATO', 'HI HELLO', 'Seesaw', and 'Heartbreak Avenue'.
As this album is a new regular album presented after about 3 years and 8 months since 'Formula of Love: O+T=< 3' in November 2021, numerous prominent domestic and international writers collaborated. Global writers including Tayla Parx, known for creating Ariana Grande's signature songs, Amy Allen, who collaborated with Sabrina Carpenter, Julian Bunetta, John Ryan, Dem Jointz, and Baby Tate, worked alongside hitmaker Shim Eun-ji, earattack, Lee Woo-min "collapsedone", Versachoi, Lee Seu-ran, and Jinri (Full8loom).
