This referred to an incident where Karina uploaded a photo wearing clothes with the color red and the number 2 on her personal account ahead of the presidential election, raising suspicions of 'supporting rebellion.'
At the time, her agency, SM Entertainment, stated, "It was just a post of everyday content on social media, with no other purpose or intention. After realizing that there was a potential for misunderstanding, we immediately deleted the post. We sincerely apologize for any concerns we may have caused inadvertently."
Karina also sent an apology message to fans through the official fan communication platform Bubble, saying, "My (fan club name), I'm really sorry for making you worry.
