'I'm Sunny Thank You' Kang So-ra, Kim Bo-mi, Kim Min-young, and Lee Eun-ji's trip to China has begun.
On the 5th, the first episode of MBC's variety show 'I'm Sunny Thank You' featured the main cast members of the movie 'Sunny' gathering after a long time, depicting the Sunnys embarking on a trip to China.
After finishing the Sunny reunion on that day, Kang So-ra mentioned China, Japan, Indonesia, and Vietnam as her desired travel destinations in an interview with the production team.
When asked about her travel style, Kang So-ra answered, 'I like to wander lazily, wake up late, eat brunch, swim, have a cocktail, and sip on some wine before sleeping,' which drew laughter.
On the day of the trip, the Sunnys, Kang So-ra, Kim Bo-mi, and Kim Min-young, departed for the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China, where they could glimpse the lives and cultures of ethnic minorities.
In particular, upon arriving at the airport and moving to their accommodation, Kang So-ra demonstrated her Chinese language skills by asking the driver questions in Chinese. Kim Min-young and Kim Bo-mi admired her, saying, 'I can only hear it,' and 'That's amazing. Cool,' to which Kang So-ra replied, 'If I can understand it, that's enough,' continuing with a joke that 'once you pay, you'll learn everything.'
In the studio, while watching Kang So-ra's Chinese proficiency, ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao remarked, 'Wow, the tones are completely accurate. She's better than my Korean,' bringing smiles.
Meanwhile, upon arriving at their accommodation, the Sunnys discussed the next day's schedule, and Kim Bo-mi asked, 'Are you going to wash your hair today, or tomorrow?' Kang So-ra replied, 'I was planning to wash it today. I can't do that,' waving her hand and adding, 'Let's just understand the scalp smell.'
Kang So-ra revealed in the studio, 'When we were filming 'Sunny', we also didn't wash our hair every day, so we know each other's scalp smells. When you walk by, you can smell it. Then we'd say, 'You need to wash it today for real.' It comes wafting by.'
She continued, 'Washing hair is a task. It might take longer because it's long,' and Marlee agreed, saying, 'Drying it is a real challenge.'
