Kim Ji-hye, a former member of the girl group Cats, revealed that she has been confined to bed for a week due to the risk of preterm birth.
On the 6th, Kim Ji-hye posted on her social account, "How are you doing? I can't escape from the risk of twins, so I've been prescribed bed rest for a week and have been lying at home."
Earlier, on the 2nd, she mentioned, "At the hospital again today," adding, "Due to the risk of preterm birth, major hospitals have put me on standby. The biggest concern for a mother of twins is the cervical length. It has already started to shorten at 25 weeks."
At that time, Kim Ji-hye said, "They say the cervical length is short. A month ago it was 3.6, but today it is 2.6," noting, "I was prescribed to cancel all my schedules and not to go out for a week. If there is no improvement after a week of rest, they said I will need to be hospitalized next week."
Afterward, she had to lie down continuously and expressed, "I didn't know lying down could be this hard... Besides the time for meals and going to the bathroom, I have to lie down, and the worst part is that I can't digest properly when I try to lie down," sharing her struggles. She added, "Still, I will do my best to avoid hospitalization next week."
Meanwhile, Kim Ji-hye married musical actor Choi Seong-wook, a former member of the group Paran, in 2019, and announced her pregnancy with twins through in vitro fertilization this February.
