A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to change the lives of students and their families struggling with grades, the Channel A program "Grades, Please: Teachers 2" features an elementary school student for the first time in its history. With the appearance of a gifted elementary student, "elementary mom" Jang Young-ran shows her "overbearing mom" side.
On the broadcast of "Teachers 2" airing on the 6th, the youngest ever challenger in the show, a "3rd grade elementary school student," will appear. Upon the appearance of the 3rd grade challenger, Jang Young-ran remarked, "Why is a baby here?" in confusion. Jun Hyun-moo also noted, "Isn't this the wrong place? This isn't where 'My Precious Child' is shown, is it?" However, the challenger affirmed they were in the right place, saying, "My mom applied, and she applied appropriately. I think I can improve through the information the teachers provide," which shocked the "T-Bengers" with a demeanor that was hard to believe for a 3rd grader.
The 10-year-old challenger, who exudes a sense of experience, is a "language genius" who learned Hangul at age 4 and is fluent in English as well as competent in Kanji. At the age of 7, they participated in a Go tournament and won 1st place, achieving a 3rd-degree official rank in Go and finishing 5th in a world children's Go tournament, earning the nickname "Little Lee Sedol."
The challenger stated, "I can't communicate with my mom and dad," expressing their hope for guidance from the T-Bengers. The challenger's mother also noted, "When one thing is taught, he absorbs it right away. The educational cost-effectiveness is good," indicating her son's exceptional understanding. When the challenger expressed a desire to learn how to read English books quickly, the top English instructor Jo Jung-sik remarked, "When asked what single superpower they would want, many successful people like Bill Gates respond that they wish for the ability to read and understand quickly." The challenger recognized for their high intellectual curiosity, indicated exceptional qualities.
In particular, the challenger showed their habit of waking up at 6 a.m. to read books and study Kanji independently. This led Jang Young-ran to exclaim, "Don't do that. I will go home and make sure my kids are behaving," switching to her "overbearing mom" mode. Jun Hyun-moo questioned, "Are you really 10 years old?" expressing skepticism about their age.
