J-Hope of BTS recalled the hardest times in his life.
On the morning of the 5th, a new video was released on the YouTube channel 'Tteun Tteun' titled 'The summer festival is just an excuse.' The released video showed J-Hope talking with Yoo Jae-suk and Cho Sae-ho.
That day, Cho Sae-ho asked J-Hope, 'Although this is a joyful gathering, when was the time you really struggled?' J-Hope replied, 'Once, I mentioned it on a broadcast. In 2018, receiving so much love as BTS, I wondered, 'Is it okay to receive this much attention?' That was there. I was afraid of people's gazes.'
J-Hope continued, 'Whenever we do something, it makes us really happy and grateful to see the reactions, but it has started to become a bit scary now. The members also had some stagnant situations.'
He also recalled, 'But overcoming that, we said to ourselves to love ourselves while giving the message of 'LOVE MYSELF,' and it applies to us as well, creating such an atmosphere among the fans. I think it became a great strength for us.'
