Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon opened up about his feelings during the broadcast of 'Superstar K.'
On the 4th, in the third episode of Mnet's 'L1VE WIRE,' starting with the band N.Flying (Lee Seung-hyup, Cha Hoon, Kim Jae-hyun, Yoo Hwa-seung, Seo Dong-seong), Ozone X Car The Garden, Jannabi (Choi Jung-hoon, Kim Do-hyung), and Hanloro appeared. Amid the cheerful hosting of MCs Jung Jae-hyung and Code Kunst, the artists displayed their charms in 'separate yet together,' giving the audience an unforgettable musical experience. The show, featuring heartfelt music and talk, recorded a peak viewership rate of 1.3% (combined for Mnet and tvN, according to AGB Nielsen for paid households).
As the first guest of the day, N.Flying drew a warm response from the audience by performing 'Blue Moon.' When Jung Jae-hyung introduced, "This is the first stage of 'Blue Moon' presented by the complete five members," Lee Seung-hyup explained, "Members Kim Jae-hyun, Cha Hoon, and Seo Dong-seong have recently completed their military service." Code Kunst praised their warm demeanor, commenting, "It usually takes up to two years to recover after military service, but I had no idea."
Yoo Hwa-seung said, "This year marks our 10th anniversary. 'Oktapbang' became popular through a rebound, and now it seems 'Blue Moon' is also making a comeback." Subsequently, Ozone X Car The Garden displayed their unique charm with the stage of 'WORLD' and shortly thereafter introduced Jannabi as 'the best band in Korea.' Jannabi captured the audience instantly with their performances of 'Did We Love?' and 'For Hesitant Lovers.' Observing this, Jung Jae-hyung shared, "Some music gets better over time. Jannabi also explained the reason behind their nickname 'Bundang Old Couple,' stating, "It's usually awkward for friends to sit close together or link arms, but we naturally became that way at some point. Our fans have watched us like that for a long time and gave us that nickname because it feels like watching a couple that is aging together."
When it was revealed that both Car The Garden and Jannabi share the commonality of being from Mnet's 'Superstar K,' Jannabi humorously said, "I thought I would rise to stardom immediately once the broadcast aired," making everyone burst out laughing. Choi Jung-hoon shared, "Since we've climbed step by step, I feel like I can look forward to the next 10 years even more," and Car The Garden added, "I was greatly inspired after watching a Jannabi performance a while ago.
