However, even Paeng Hyun-sook experienced a harrowing situation where she almost fell victim to fraud recently. She shocked the cast by saying, "I hardly got the household deposit back due to a mistake in the contract the other day." She emphasized, "Even though I studied a lot, this can still happen. Real estate fraud is that common. As there are many high-value transactions and assets worth tens of billions of won are involved, one must always maintain vigilance."
Paeng Hyun-sook confessed, "Rumors say I'm wealthy, but in fact, I have failed too much and have a lot of loans," advising, "You should never approach real estate through intuition. You must do site visits yourself and confirm it."
After marrying at 24, Paeng Hyun-sook continually challenged herself with various businesses, going through many ups and downs, including running a pottery shop, clothing store, restaurant, and even what was called an "affair cafe." After numerous failures, she even changed her name to "Paeng Soo-hee," noting that her life began to get better little by little afterward.
Recently, she completed her Master of Business Administration with an A+ and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree, stating, "Though I am approaching my sixties, this is the second act of my life." Along with this, she expressed her ambitious dream of opening a sundae soup restaurant in the U.S. named after herself and creating anti-aging foods to live 10 to 20 years younger.
