The drama 'Cheongdam International High School 2' OST lineup has been revealed.
The drama 'Cheongdam International High School 2' (written by Kwak Young-im, directed by Lim Dae-woong and Park Hyung-won), which will be first released on domestic OTT platforms on July 3, is a high-teen psychological thriller that combines a power game set in the elite Cheongdam International High School with a youth romance.
The revealed OST lineup will feature Kim Ye-ji as the first vocalist, showcasing her overwhelming and unique singing ability with distinctive vocal tones that span genres including R&B, ballads, and metal.
The second participant is artist Nana Jin, who is loved for her distinctive vocal tones and singing ability across genres including jazz, R&B/soul, funk, and pop, especially in offline festival performances.
Actors Ye-ri and Kim Min-kyu, who play the roles of Baek Je-na and Cha Jin-wook, unexpectedly participated in the OST. Baek Je-na and Cha Jin-wook, who have a relationship filled with mutual hatred, are expected to reveal subtle emotional changes in their narrative, showcasing a deeper relationship.
In particular, Red Velvet members Ye-ri and Kim Min-kyu will each sing the titular song in gender-specific versions, increasing curiosity as the OST featuring the two characters will be released.
'Cheongdam International High School 2' OST will release Part 1, Kim Ye-ji's 'Maze Game', at 6 p.m. on July 3, and Part 2, Nana Jin's 'A Poem for the Poor', will be released on July 10.
'I'm Like You', sung by Ye-ri and Kim Min-kyu, is expected to be released in both female and male versions at 6 p.m. on July 24 and July 31, respectively.
