Lee Hyori expressed her unwavering affection for her husband, Lee Sang-soon. Even after 11 years of marriage, she shared snippets of their life as a couple that still feels newlywed, bringing laughter.
Lee Hyori appeared on the 300th special of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block', which aired on the 2nd, sharing various behind-the-scenes stories from her relationship to marriage with Lee Sang-soon. After marrying Lee Sang-soon in September 2013, she lived in Jeju Island for 10 years before moving to Seoul last year.
Lee Hyori noted, "After moving from Jeju to Seoul, I had a six-month adjustment period. It felt so different coming back to Seoul after 10 years," and she continued, "I dated my husband for 2 years before moving down to Jeju, but at that time, we had a secret relationship, so we couldn't date in Seoul. Now that we go places together, it feels like we've been refreshed like newlyweds."
Earlier, Lee Sang-soon appeared on 'You Quiz' and reminisced about the moment he fell for Lee Hyori, saying, "I was smitten when Lee Hyori came to visit me at my rooftop apartment and started cleaning up."
In response, Lee Hyori recalled, "At that time, my older brother had a broken hand from riding a bicycle and was in a cast. I went to his studio and rooftop apartment, saw how messy it was, and cleaned it up. He felt embarrassed and pretended it was okay, even though it was awkward."
When Yoo Jae-suk and Cho Sae-ho asked about Lee Sang-soon's charms, Lee Hyori responded, "He is really handsome. He's so cool in my eyes. I love his physique and his relaxed demeanor," adding, "I'm quite bad with directions, but when we travel, he leads the way. I fell for that."
She continued, "In relationships, my feelings tend to cool down every 2 to 3 years. I was worried about what would happen if my feelings diminished after marriage, but it seems we decided to move to Jeju because we wanted to protect our love for each other."
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon have been actively involved in broadcasting activities after recently moving to Seoul.
