Scarlett Johansson, who visited Korea for the first time in 8 years, has shared that she is enjoying her time in the country despite a busy schedule.
On the 1st, a press conference for the movie "Jurassic World: New Beginnings" (directed by Gareth Edwards) was held at the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and director Gareth Edwards.
Scarlett Johansson set foot in Korea for the second time in 8 years since her visit in 2017 for "Ghost in the Shell."
In "Jurassic World: New Beginnings," she takes on the role of Laura, a former special forces agent and skilled operations expert, demonstrating both survival strategies and leadership amid tense situations.
Scarlett Johansson smiled and said, "I'm happy to be back. I'm so excited to be in Korea." She noted, "This morning I went to Myeongdong and bought a lot of makeup products. (Although I'm short on time) I thought it was something I had to do, so I went out early. And for breakfast, I tried all seven types of kimchi."
She added, "Tonight I'm really looking forward to meeting fans on the red carpet. Korean fans always give us so much hospitality, so I can't wait for the red carpet event."
Scarlett Johansson, who has been a fan of the "Jurassic" series since childhood, expressed, "I was so excited and honored to enter the world of the 'Jurassic' series," recalling filming that prompted her to unleash her imagination more than ever.
"Jurassic World: New Beginnings" is a film that tells the story of Zara (played by Scarlett Johansson) and Dr. Henry (Jonathan Bailey), who enter the most dangerous island on Earth, where a secret laboratory of the former Jurassic Park lies, to uncover shocking truths that have been hidden and must survive amid the threat of dinosaurs.
