Joo Young-hoon's wife, actress Lee Yoon-mi, posted on her personal social media on the 3rd, "You were born to be loved. Many people have worried and prayed for you, so you are recovering quickly," informing about her husband Joo Young-hoon's current situation.
The photo released together shows Joo Young-hoon with Lee Yoon-mi and their two daughters, along with other family members. Wearing a hospital gown and receiving an IV, he appears to be recovering well as he is standing healthily and smiling.
In this context, Lee Yoon-mi emphasized her faith, saying, "The power of prayer is indeed the best. I sincerely thank you all," while also revealing her sense of responsibility as a mother, stating, "In the morning, I'm at the hospital, and in the afternoon, I'm with the kids. I'm busy and actively moving in Jeju with my scheduled plans. I will do my best to play with them as if I were their dad."
Previously, Joo Young-hoon and Lee Yoon-mi's family went on a trip to Jeju. However, on the 1st, Joo Young-hoon suddenly complained of chills and abdominal pain, leading to visits to the emergency room. Ultimately, he underwent an appendectomy, commonly referred to as appendicitis, which raised concerns.
During this process, Lee Yoon-mi shared every detail of Joo Young-hoon's situation through social media. As discussions ensued about this, she noted after Joo Young-hoon's surgery was successfully completed, "Thanks to everyone's prayers, I came out of the appendectomy well. My husband needs rest today. While he is hospitalized, I will take care of everything he needs, and I will return to create good memories with our children as a mother.
