Seo In-guk recalled his past relationships.
On the 3rd, a production presentation for the Netflix variety show 'Better Late Than Single' was held at CGV in Yongsan, Seoul. The event was attended by PD Jo Wook-hyung, PD Kim No-eun, PD Won Seung-jae, Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji, and Car The Garden.
The show 'Better Late Than Single', which will be released worldwide on July 8, is a makeover reality show that helps inexperienced single individuals experience their first love. The challenges of those who have zero experience in love and put their whole heart into it, despite being clumsy and awkward, present a delightful anticipation that shifts from a chaotic sitcom to a romance full of excitement.
Seo In-guk, who joined as a 'sommaker,' explained, "When I saw the title, I had expectations that it could show a freshness that hasn't been seen before. I felt that during the filming as well. I thought many people would feel that freshness."
He continued, "It also makes me think about my past. Every time the friends express their emotions, and when I see them having their own time alone. I feel, 'I had those experiences when I was younger.' I think viewers will have a chance to recall their own first loves and memories of love as they watch. I felt that participating was definitely a good decision."
He also confessed, "Nowadays, my friends and I are similar in that, the emotions of love are about timing and finding the right balance. The longing in my heart is sky-high, but if I show all of that, it can be excessive. I think it was even more intense when I was younger."
He added, "Even though my heart is in turmoil, the ways to express it are clumsy, so there are times when I wonder when I should do it and to what extent I should go. Watching it, sometimes I feel regret, and sometimes I feel joy."
